| | | Big Narrows Resort is located 24 miles southwest of Kenora, Ontario on the eastern shore of the western peninsula of Lake of the Woods. The resort is accessible only by boat or float plane. Guests either drive to the Northwest Angle of Minnesota or the city of Kenora, Ontario. Big Narrows Staff will pick you up for a scenic 35 minute boat ride from either location. You can fly via commercial airplane to Winnipeg and arrange for ground transportation to Kenora for boat pickup. Delta Airlines and Air Canada are the major carriers to Winnipeg. Northwest also has commercial service to International Falls, MN. Finally, there is float plane service out of Nestor Falls, Ontario. GPS coordinates for Big Narrows are N. 49 degrees, 32.623 minutes, W. 94 degrees, 41.837 minutes for those arriving with their own plane or boat. |
